Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our Cleveland-based team. In this role, you will assist in managing client communications, organizing media outreach efforts, and supporting campaign strategies that promote a positive public image for our clients and the agency. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and experienced in building strong media and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
Draft press releases, media pitches, and official communications
Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging with brand goals
Support the execution of PR campaigns and strategic outreach
Monitor media coverage and compile detailed reports for clients
Assist with crisis communication planning and implementation
Build and maintain media lists and relationships with journalists
Prepare briefing materials and talking points for client interviews and events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
1–3 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Familiarity with media tracking tools and PR software
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Professional demeanor and client-facing communication skills
