This role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to a fast-growing SaaS organization by supporting the finance and operational teams. The Financial Analyst will lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts for G&A functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You will provide actionable insights through financial modeling, reporting, and process improvements, directly influencing leadership decision-making. The role requires collaboration with department leads and the finance team, as well as clear communication of complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. This position is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Remote work is supported with expectations for EST/CST timezone availability.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for G&A departments, including HR, Legal, IT, and Facilities.
  • Build and maintain financial models to project operational spending trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, investigating discrepancies between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare clear and insightful reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Monitor OPEX spending and maintain KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with accurate and timely financial data.
  • Collaborate closely with department leads and finance colleagues to ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and business impact.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and other financial tools; experience with Workday or Adaptive Planning is a plus.
  • Solid experience in financial modeling, variance analysis, and budgeting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset.
