Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week
\n• Overtime paid after 48 hours worked
\n• 13-week contract assignment starting February 23, 2026
\n• Contract ends on Sunday instead of Saturday
\n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
\n• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
\n• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back
\n• Patient ratio of 4:1 on a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit
\n• Handle heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy care
\n• Manage chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
\n• Work with primary patients and insulin drips in fast-paced environment
\n• Must have Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications
\n• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
\n• ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II experience preferred
\n• Ventilator/Trach experience required
\n• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
\n• EPIC charting experience preferred
\n• Any color scrubs allowed
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
\n• Fast-paced unit requiring resilient, independent workers who manage change well
