• Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona nursing jobs)\n
• Division: Travel Nursing – Labor & Delivery\n
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Labor & Delivery Unit, Trauma Level II\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)\n
• Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45am – 7:15pm)\n
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470 per week\n
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 2 out of 3 holidays (eve/day of)\n
• Charting System: EPIC EMR\n
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience in a Level I/II Trauma hospital (within last 3 years)\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (recent use required)\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification\n
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification\n
• Ability to perform vaginal exams, circulate C-sections, assist with newborn transitions, and manage postpartum hemorrhage\n
• Spanish language skills preferred for Arizona healthcare jobs\n

\n\nL&D Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients (28 weeks gestation and above)\n
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, including tele monitoring and APGAR assignments\n
• Titrate drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood) as required\n
• Assist with C-sections, epidurals, amnio infusions, and newborn transitions\n
• Collaborate with OB Techs, charge nurses, and in-house OB/Neonatologists\n
• Float to NICU, Pediatrics, Women's Health, MedSurg, or ICU as needed\n
• Care for antepartum patients and provide two hours of care for newborns post-delivery\n
• Participate in SIM lab training for postpartum hemorrhage control\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC system\n
