Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Contract Duration: 4 weeks
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (includes a 30-minute break)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
We are seeking an experienced Central Sterile Technician to support an urgent Central Sterile Processing Department (CSPD) project. The technician will be responsible for decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays
\tOperate and monitor sterilization equipment according to established procedures
\tInspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly
\tMaintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterilization processes
\tEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
\tCommunicate effectively with OR staff and other departments
\tMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
\tHigh School Diploma or GED (required)
\tPrevious Central Sterile / SPD experience (required)
\tNational Central Sterile / SPD Certification (required)
\tStrong communication and organizational skills (required)
\tNo RTO (Request Time Off) permitted during the contract
\tFast-paced, team-oriented environment
\tImmediate start required
