Overview

A global, privately held consumer lifestyle company is seeking a senior real estate attorney to lead strategic acquisitions for its expanding investment platform. The position offers the opportunity to help shape investment strategy for a robust business with a growing real estate footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic real estate acquisitions and select dispositions
• Evaluate opportunities, develop deal structures, and support financial modeling and tax analysis
• Negotiate with sophisticated owners and counterparties
• Manage all phases of the transaction lifecycle, from diligence through closing
• Work cross-functionally with finance, tax, and real estate business leaders on deal execution
• Support additional real estate–related investment activities as the portfolio expands

Skills

• 8+ of real estate transactional experience - law firm, family office, or investment platform
• Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and related deal structures
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial models and tax considerations
• Responsive, business-minded, and comfortable moving quickly when opportunities arise
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience working with sophisticated counterparties and complex deal frameworks
