We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher who is passionate about the intersection of the physical and virtual worlds, reaching beyond what is shown on a screen to include the physical environment, building layout, equipment, work processes anything and everything that impacts how work inside our fulfillment centers gets done.
Key Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, self-learner, and self-starter who looks around corners to identify user problems and needs, proactively initiates the research process, delivers high quality research plans and actionable insights, and influences stakeholders to positively impact experiences within Amazon's global fulfillment network. As the user research lead within AFT-XD, you'll define and build AFT's global research discipline while mentoring researchers, designers, and team members in methodologies and best practices. You'll foster cross-team collaboration across countries to elevate research standards and improve fulfillment center operations. Working with cross-functional teams of designers, product managers, and engineers, you'll identify research topics, build research roadmaps, and execute both formative and evaluative studies using diverse methods. Your role includes communicating insights and recommendations while advocating for users to ultimately enhance the experience of fulfillment center associates and operators to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
