IMKO is currently hiring a forklift operator for a busy warehouse in the Tri State area. The client provides co-packing, warehousing, distribution and fulfillment services and are a valued supply chain link. This position does require previous sit-down lift experience.

*** MUST Have Valid Driver’s License

*** MUST Pass Drug Pre- Employment Drug Screen and Background Check

Steel Toed Boots are required

Requirements of the Forklift Operator

1. Safely operates forklift, manual/electric jack, pallet wrapping machine, compactors, and other tools/machines as appropriate and as needed for successful completion of duties.
2. Follows all processes and procedures for tasks assigned.
3. Completes and passes annual Food Safety Training.
4. Ensures all orders assigned are picked with accuracy, reports challenges to Inventory Control Specialist.
5. Assists with inventory cycle counts as directed.
6. Receives product at the direction of Supervisor/Director.
7. Disposes of product at the direction of Supervisor/Director.
8. Cleans work area based on Master Cleaning Schedule posted in that area or as directed.
9. Loading and unloading pallets to and from trailers/vehicles; safely operate dock lifts.
10. Adheres to safety guidelines and recommendations.
11. Maintains a safe organized work area

Schedule hours: M-F, 7:30 am - 4 pm

Starting Pay: $18.50
