The Sr. Service Now Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions. They will work with teammates and customers to gather requirements and develop solutions. They must have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and experience in application development using a variety of languages and SDLC best practices. Responsibilities include continuous review of new ServiceNow modules and other software to keep the platform current, configuration and administration of solutions within the ServiceNow environment, configuring, customizing, scripting, and developing the platform using best practices, collaborating with team members, customers, and vendors to design, test, document, and deploy system changes including upgrades, gathering specifications from service owners, building workflows, advanced scripting of business rules and UI elements, creating views and reports, working as part of a DevOps team, developing technical and process documentation, and understanding new ServiceNow features to drive platform expansion and adoption. Qualifications require 3-10 years of ServiceNow development experience, expert knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, PowerShell, SaaS applications, network operations, intermediate software development lifecycle experience, and a Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years in IT Operations.
