Job Title: Order Picker – Narrow Aisle Equipment
Location: Reading, PA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. This position requires experience operating narrow aisle order picker equipment to accurately pick and stage products in a high-volume distribution center. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate narrow aisle order picker (turret truck or similar equipment) safely and effectively
Retrieve products based on pick tickets or RF scan devices
Place picked orders in the correct staging area for shipping or packing
Perform regular equipment safety checks and report any mechanical issues
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
Assist with restocking, inventory counts, and general warehouse tasks as needed
Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience operating narrow aisle equipment required
Valid forklift/order picker certification (or ability to become certified)
1–2 years of warehouse or order picking experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic English reading and math skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Schedule & Pay:
Shifts: 1st & 2nd shift available
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
