Our prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience at a law firm, with a strong background in commercial litigation matters. The candidate should be comfortable handling a high volume of cases and be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growing firm.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
2. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
3. Conduct extensive legal research to support client cases and to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
4. Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, helping them navigate complex legal situations.
5. Collaborate with legal staff and partners to develop litigation strategies.
6. Negotiate settlements to resolve disputes favorably and efficiently.
7. Maintain the highest level of professional conduct and ethics in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the IL bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm, ideally commercial litigation.
4. Proficient knowledge of legal research tools and ability to conduct thorough legal research.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts and strategies to clients and other attorneys.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.
7. Experience appearing in court, arguing motions, and managing discovery.
8. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
10. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
