Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Lead Appliance Installer to join our team in Hayward, CA. In this critical role, you will not only expertly install a full range of kitchen and laundry appliances but also lead a team, manage complex installations, ensure quality control, and train junior staff. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Leadership & Quality Assurance:

• Act as the primary technical expert on site for complex, built-in, and custom kitchen installations.

• Mentor and train junior installers on best practices, safety procedures, and customer service.

• Manage daily installation schedules, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.

• Conduct final quality checks on all completed work to ensure flawless functionality and aesthetic finish.

• Handle high-level customer service escalations or complex on-site problem-solving.

Installation & Technical Work:

• Professionally deliver, unbox, and install all standard and custom full kitchen and laundry appliances (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, built-in ovens, vent hoods, washers, and dryers).

• Safely and proficiently connect necessary utilities, including gas lines, water lines (ice makers, dishwashers), and electrical connections , ensuring strict compliance with all local codes.

• Perform necessary cabinet or counter modifications for a seamless fit (e.g., cut-outs, securing anti-tip brackets).

What You'll Bring (Qualifications)

• 2–5 years of extensive professional appliance installation experience is required, including custom and built-in units.

• Proven experience in a lead, supervisory, or senior installer role.

• Mastery of technical installation for gas, water, and electrical connections.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team and interact professionally with customers.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Physical ability to lift heavy items (often 75+ lbs) and perform demanding physical labor.
