Job Description
HR Manager
Location: Franklin Park IL
Schedule: 8AM-5PM M-F
Pay rate: $24-$27/hr
Duties:
Assist HR with recruitment processes including posting jobs on Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other platforms.
Update job descriptions and scopes in alignment with organizational needs.
Schedule phone screens, Teams, and in-person interviews; coordinate with candidates, hiring managers, and the HR team.
Deliver offer letters and process new hire paperwork via Dayforce, HireRight, and E-Verify.
Assist with onboarding candidates from staffing agencies and other sources.
Support payroll processing and employee attendance tracking.
Maintain accurate employee records in ERP and HRIS systems; perform data entry and updates as needed.
Assist with account analysis, benefits administration, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain office spreadsheets, databases, and generate HR or finance-related reports.
Support project management initiatives, training, and development activities as needed.
Assist front office operations, including visitors, phones, and general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, recruitment and staffing, or HRIS systems.
Hands-on experience with Dayforce is required.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
