About the Role: As a Hotel Manager for Hotel June Malibu, your main objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel, while providing exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Your ultimate goal is to maximize revenue, minimize costs, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of staff, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to deliver excellent service. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. Proven experience in hotel management, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. Experience in managing a hotel with a high occupancy rate and multiple revenue streams. Knowledge of revenue management strategies and tools. Experience in implementing and managing guest loyalty programs. Proficiency in hotel management software and systems. Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments. Ensure the highest level of customer service by training and supervising staff, and addressing any guest concerns or complaints. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs, including setting room rates, managing inventory, and controlling expenses. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff by implementing and enforcing hotel policies and procedures. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests, including managing online reviews and social media presence. Skills: In this role, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of staff. Your problem-solving and decision-making abilities will be crucial in addressing any challenges that may arise. Your knowledge of hotel operations will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel. Additionally, your ability to develop and implement revenue management strategies will contribute to the financial success of the hotel.
