POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for maintaining and configuring the electronic health record (EHR) system for the organization to ensure optimal workflows and productivity, including overseeing the build and maintenance of the clinic schedule.
It provides efficient and timely support to all staff and providers for the EHR, offering education and instructions regarding features and functionality, and configuring the EHR to optimize workflow efficiency and accuracy.
The role manages projects to enhance workflows, leverages technology solutions into those workflows, and collaborates with stakeholders to optimize practice operations.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
Maintain EHR functionality/build
Provide EHR support to staff/providers
Train new staff on EHR and department specific workflows
Prepare and present EHR training for all providers/staff
Liaison between Women’s Health and our clinical partners (hospital, lab, pathology) to create and maintain interfaces for smooth transfer of information
Serve as a liaison between providers, staff, and EHR vendor
Oversee the CMS Quality Payment Program reporting requirements including clinical quality measures, interoperability, improvement projects, and annual attestation
Maintain knowledge of CMS Quality Payment Program reporting requirements, how the EHR is designed to support these requirements, and attestation requirements
Oversee the development, build, and ongoing maintenance of the clinical schedule
Coordinate and collaborate with providers and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate release of the schedule
Collaborate in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of systems that support practice operations
Work with staff and providers to optimize the design of the EHR to improve clinic efficiency
Prepare reports and data analysis as needed
Expand and maintain electronic communications with patients through the EHR portal to enhance their clinical experience and understanding of their clinical information

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Informatics, Nursing, or related field, preferred.
Experience: At least 2‑3 years of EHR/Clinical Informatics experience required. Experience creating and facilitating training for staff and/or providers, preferred.
Computer Skills: Ability to efficiently operate computers. Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Comfortable with navigating electronic health records, preferred.
Certifications & Licenses: Healthcare related certification or license preferred.
Other Requirements: Ability to pass required background check and drug test.
