If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester SVDP's Mission : A network of neighbors, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.SVDP has served residents of greater Cincinnati for over 150 years with basic needs such as food, medicine, and homelessness prevention through its outreach center in the West End and through 56 parish-based volunteer Conferences. SVDP provides holistic direct assistance and systemic change services while treating neighbors in need with dignity and compassion. Purpose: The Data Entry Assistant will support the direct service work of the Outreach Center by providing administrative support to our programs, including checking requests for eligibility, entering assistance into our case management system, and preparing materials for distribution events. Duties & Responsibilities Include: Enter assistance into SVDP's case management system Process assistance requests, including verifying eligibility Help prepare for distribution events, including making copies and gathering supplies Notify neighbors of their acceptance into SVDP programs, which may include mailing letters, using our texting service, or making phone calls Other duties as assigned by the supervisor that contribute to the operations of our Outreach Center and the overall mission of St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati Qualifications Qualifications: Currently enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University Work Study eligibility required Desire to serve our neighbors in need in Cincinnati through behind-the-scenes support work Ability to work on own initiative, independently, and to deliver on time Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft products Well-organized with attention to detail Commitment to excellence in customer service Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately to diverse audiences To apply, please upload a cover letter, resume, and contact information with three professional references via Paycom.
