FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor for a great client! The company has enjoyed a consistent growth trend, has a strong reputation for engineering and fabricating superior products, and a personalized customer service approach.
So, what will you be doing as Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor?
-Provide leadership for Warehousing, Inventory, Receiving, and Shipping functions
-Develop and manage cycle counting process
-Work to create and improve warehousing processes within the ERP system
-Create a team-oriented environment with a heavy focus on safety
-Lead inter-plant logistics ensuring product is moved through the manufacturing process as needed
What you will need to be successful:
-BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or another related field
-5+ years of experience in warehousing and logistics
-3+ years of experience in a leadership capacity
-Experience with ERP and TMS
-Working knowledge of inventory programs
-Advanced database/analytical skills
Other things considered a plus:
-MBA
-Experience in a fabrication or machining manufacturing environment
-D365
-Forklift or Crane certification
-Excel, Access
