Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our government relations firm in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will involve managing member relations for two trade associations, providing strategic project management, coordinating events, and engaging with elected officials and government entities. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with our PR team to enhance our firm’s online presence. Responsibilities Member Relations & Engagement: Oversee member relations for two trade associations; support member engagement initiatives, fostering relationships and ensuring retention. Project Management & Client Support: Provide project management support to drive client objectives forward; ensure timely execution of deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams as needed; research and analyze legislative and policy developments to support client initiatives. Government & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between the firm and elected officials, government appointees, and related entities; prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence to support interactions with policymakers; coordinate meetings, hearings, and lobbying efforts as necessary. Event Planning & Execution: Plan, assemble, and manage multiple events for clients, including conferences, networking functions, and policy discussions; ensure flawless execution of events, from logistics and vendor coordination to guest management. Public Relations & Online Presence: Work closely with the PR executive to create compelling content for the firm’s website, social media platforms, and external communications; assist in crafting press releases, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces; work to secure speaking engagements for firm members in areas of expertise. Qualifications Previous experience in government relations, trade associations, or a similar field preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders, including government officials and industry leaders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools.
