Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Responsibilities: Review (and sometimes prepare) partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns Identify and execute tax planning opportunities Manage client accounting and tax engagements and work with staff to deliver year-round accounting and tax services Provide research support and work with partners on client technical matters Deliver high quality service, while interacting and maintaining relationships with clients, performing accounting, tax, and consulting services Assist, train and mentor staff Preferred Qualifications Accounting degree 5 + years of Public CPA firm experience Active CPA License Proficient in Lacerte, Quickbooks, and MS Office Suite, specifically Excel Spartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
