Our client in Clare MI, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting skilled trades. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $19.50 an hour

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of MIG and TIG welding experience. REQUIRED
• High School diploma or GED. REQUIRED
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and welding symbols preferred.
• Ability to remove imperfections from the surface of products.
• Willingness to implement and complete all welding and related tasks assigned by team leaders and crew leaders.

What's the Job?

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and various welding devices.
• Position parts according to work orders, routings, and prints, utilizing knowledge of the unit.
• Regulate machines for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
• Ensure the fit, function, and cosmetics of welded products meet or exceed client expectations.
• Document all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.
