• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-traffic websites using  WordPress and Drupal .
• Implement and optimize  digital-based advertising solutions (Google Ad Manager, programmatic advertising, etc.).
• Build and maintain  responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized web pages .
• Manage website performance, security, and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Develop custom  APIs and third-party integrations to enhance site functionality.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including  ADA accessibility, SEO, and data protection .

• Create  visually compelling, user-friendly web designs that align with The Source’s brand identity.
• Develop  interactive and multimedia-rich experiences that enhance audience engagement.
• Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to design landing pages, microsites, and campaign assets.
• Implement  UI/UX best practices to optimize navigation, layout, and responsiveness.
• Maintain  brand consistency across all digital platforms.

• Work closely with  editorial, marketing, and production teams to bring creative concepts to life.
• Clearly articulate  technical solutions and design principles to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide training and support for internal teams using CMS platforms.

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in  web engineering and web design , ideally within media, content, or production companies.
• Experience managing high-traffic websites and multimedia content delivery.
• Technical Expertise:
• Advanced proficiency in  WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and database management .
• Strong understanding of  digital-based advertising technologies and integration.
• Experience with  cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and  API development .
• Design & UX Skills:
• Proficiency in  Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or other design tools .
• Deep understanding of  UI/UX design principles and responsive web design .
• Strong ability to balance  functionality and aesthetics .
• Communication Skills:
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical team members.
• Experience working cross-functionally with creative and editorial teams.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with  motion graphics, interactive media, or multimedia-rich content .
• Knowledge of  e-commerce and subscription-based platforms .
