Job Title: Visual Designer – UX (Search)

Compensation: Up to $70/hr (DOE)
A global tech company is hiring a Visual Designer to join their UX team focused on Search Verticals — like Health, Finance, Sports, Weather, and more. You’ll create elegant, user-centered design solutions across Web, Mobile, and Tablet platforms. Expect to collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to shape experiences used by billions.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Design and deliver beautiful, intuitive visuals from concept to execution
• Ensure consistency across design systems and platforms
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on product vision
• Help evolve and apply Google’s visual design language
• Support asset creation, process efficiency, and brand cohesion
Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of visual/product/UX design experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing multi-platform work
• Experience designing across Web, Mobile, and Tablet
• Understanding of user-centered design principles
• Clean, detail-oriented visual style
You’ll Stand Out If You…
• Hold a Master’s in Design, HCI, or related field
• Have contributed to or built design systems
• Know how to present design rationale clearly and strategically
• Have worked in large-scale, cross-functional tech teams
This is a 40-hour/week, 6–12 month contract role with the potential to convert to full-time if performance meets or exceeds expectations.
