Job Details

• Speech Language Pathologist – Rehabilitation Services (Mixed Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, and Home Health/Hospice)
• Opportunity to work in three disciplines: outpatient, inpatient, and home health/hospice
• Join rehabilitation and home health departments
• Work with SLP, occupational and physical therapy services, nursing, and home health aides
• 1 on 1 patient interaction with built-in documentation time
• Fleet of vehicles available for home health/hospice staff
• Encouragement of continuing education with a stipend each year

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree
• Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology
• BLS certified by American Heart Association (AHA)
• SLP license, in good standing with State of Oregon

Unit Specific Information

• Promotes the mission, vision and values of the BMHD
• Evaluates patient’s communication/articulation, physical, cognitive, breathing, swallowing status
• Develops and implements a treatment plan
• Provides ongoing assessment and analysis of patient functioning and progress
• Coordinates therapy activities with other health care disciplines
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities
