Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician to support a cancer center infusion pharmacy in the Albany, NY area. This is an urgent need with a fast start.
Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday, day shifts (approx. 8:00 am 4:30 pm)
Setting: Infusion / Cancer Center
Duties: Primary responsibility is sterile admixture of chemotherapy medications
Requirements:
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) strongly preferred
Chemo/IV admixture experience required
NY pharmacy technician license not required
Must have reliable transportation candidate will need to float between multiple oncology sites (all within ~20 miles)
Strong sterile pounding knowledge and ability to work independently
Travel Support: Non-taxable stipends for lodging, meals, and incidentals available.
