Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least two years of perioperative experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Provide perioperative nursing care
• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week from 10:30 to 19:00
• Expectation to work some holidays
• Required to float to other units if short staffed
• All time off requests must be approved prior to assignment and should be minimal, especially in the first two weeks
• Block scheduling is limited to no more than three or four shifts in a row
• Candidates must be willing to go to the lab within 24 hours after signing
• Local candidates within a 45-mile radius are not accepted
• Some holiday coverage is required

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience
• Proof of negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security Number required
