ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Holiday requirement if contract is during holiday period
\n• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 depending on unit mix of ICU and step-down patients
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• 2 years of PICU experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
\n• South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• All RTO must be submitted at time of submission
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• $20 registration fee for parking hang tag required
\n• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
\n• Modules are non-billable and average 4 hours, completed pre-start
Facility:
\nThis Level I Trauma Center is a 820-bed teaching facility with Magnet Hospital designation. The 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care unit provides intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18 from across South Carolina. The unit cares for patients with medical and surgical diagnoses including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative surgical patients, and neurology/neurosurgery cases. The facility offers advanced therapies including ECMO, CRRT, renal dialysis, and pediatric palliative care with comprehensive support services including respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, and pediatric pharmacists.
