EPIC experience
Primary position in Pediatrics.
Willing to float to PICU/NICU.
Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Administration of chemotherapy*, Anti-Seizure Medications, Body fluid handling post chemo*, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Care and management of ports*, Central line blood draw*, Central Line/Implanted Line Care*, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Fractures*, Hyperbilirubinemia, Infection Prevention, Insertion and management of indwelling urinary catheter, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions, Management of Chest Tubes, Monitoring chemotherapy (does not initiate)*, Neuromuscular disease, NG tube insertion/ management, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Pediatric Early Warning Score (PEWS)/Rapid Response Team, Pediatric MedSurg, Pediatric oncology*, Pediatric Step Down/Telemetry*, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Post Cardiac Cath*, Seizure disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs*, Symptom management, Telemetry - remote monitoring, TPN/Lipids, Wound assessment/care
