DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: PCU RN - Night Shift
Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099
Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License in hand - mandatory
• Epic experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Willing to cover holiday shifts
• Travel distance: Must be willing to work >75 miles from home

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
• Document patient care in Epic accurately and timely
• Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and escalate as necessary
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
