3032762 RN-PCU DESCRIPTION: Job Title: PCU RN - Night Shift Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099 Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Requirements: Active NY RN License in hand - mandatory Epic experience required ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Willing to cover holiday shifts Travel distance: Must be willing to work >75 miles from home Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes Document patient care in Epic accurately and timely Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and escalate as necessary Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatments Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
