• Location: Pratt, KS (zip 67124) – Kansas healthcare jobs\n
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing\n
• Unit: Medical Surgical (Med/Surg), Orthopedic, General Surgery\n
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekdays and some weekends\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)\n
• Patient Ratio: 4:1\n
• Setting: Community hospital with interdisciplinary clinical support\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570-$1680\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience\n
• Active Kansas RN license or Compact State RN license\n
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred\n
• Experience with TRUBRIDGE (formerly CPSI) EMR strongly preferred\n
• IV start, telemetry, and charge nurse experience preferred\n
• Orthopedic (total hips and knees) and rural health experience a plus\n
• First-time travel nurses and local candidates welcome\n
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to medical and surgical patients\n
• Manage post-op joints, orthopedic, and general surgery cases\n
• Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, and monitor telemetry\n
• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP units as needed\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more\n
• Provide care for all age groups: infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using TRUBRIDGE EMR\n
• Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start\n
