Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marianna, Florida.

🏥 Unit Overview

Facility Type: ICU / COVID ICU / PCU
Start: ASAP
Schedule: No block scheduling | No holiday RTO
Shift: 12-hour shifts (7a–7p, 7p–7a)

🛏️ Units & Beds
  • Main ICU (SCU – “Clean Unit”) : 7 beds, all vented. Stays full.
  • COVID ICU / Regular COVID Unit : 22 beds.
    • MedSurg COVID (+) and vented patients
    • Frequent intubations and multiple drips
  • PCU (“Clean Unit”) : 8 beds, no vents but must have vent & trach experience due to rapid patient deterioration.

  • Meds: Omnicell
👩‍🔬 Support Staff
  • Charge Nurses: Sometimes present; often take assignments
  • House Supervisor: 24/7 availability (remote from COVID units)
  • RT: 24/7 in-house; manages vents, EKGs, ABGs, breathing tx
  • Pharmacy: 24/7
  • IV Team: None (some staff are PICC/Midline certified)
  • CNAs: None in ICU/COVID ICU; present in PCU/COVID Regular (1 per unit)
👕 Scrubs
  • Clean Units: Navy/Black
  • COVID Units: Green hospital-provided scrubs (returned after shift)
🧭 Floating
  • Floating required between ICU / PCU / COVID areas
  • All staff float equally, including perm staff
  • At least one perm staff must remain on each unit
📚 Orientation
  • CPSI, Omnicell, SCU orientation, then other units
  • HR & badge processing included
⚕️ Common Diagnoses

COVID-19, DKA, Sepsis, Pulmonary Edema, CHF, COPD, Flu, Acute Abdomen, Abdominal Perf, Post-Op, Minor Trauma, HTN Crisis, etc.

  • Weekends: Every other
  • Holidays: Included in perm staff rotation
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to float, assist as CNA if overstaffed
