Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 12 Number of Staff – 28 Type of staff: Day Shift – (1 charge, 5 RN, 1 CNA, and 1 secretary) Night Shift – (1 charge, 5 RN) Patient Ratios –2:1 Type of equipment – ICU equipment EMR –Meditech Must have: ICU experience Experience with neuro/stroke patients Preferred or nice to have: Neuroscience ICU experience Experience with Meditech documentation system Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience stepdown unit List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Ventriculostomy insertion s/p thrombectomy procedures s/p TPA administration s/p tumor resection and biopsy Lumbar drain and ventric management Q1 hr Pupillometer monitoring REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS & NIHSSMedical Solutions Job ID #838073.
