Repairing and maintaining air compressors, pressure washers and generators, including some small engine repairs.

We are a small, family owned business. BACS has been in business since 1983, used to be called Bill's Air Compressor Service. We occasionally go out for team building lunches, dinners, or other activities. We provide great customer service to all of our customers from the multi-million dollar ones to the little guy on the corner. Our technicians work mostly independently, but will occasionally have to work on the same job site, so working well with others is a must. We pay for training, uniforms, and a vehicle to get to jobs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license w/ clean driving record (we will request a driving record)
No felonies
1-2 years experience maintaining, repairing, and/ or overhauling various types of mechanical equipment and/ or small engines (electrical knowledge is a plus)
Able to speak fluent English (bi-lingual is a plus) Excellent communication skills written and oral
Great problem solving skills and able to work independently
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Able to work in industrial environments (including but not limited to: outdoors mid-summer, continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling)
Promote AND practice proper safety procedures
Own some of your own basic tools at time of hiring (you will be required to get more specific tools once hired and working on your own)
Must be willing to travel for training and/or repairs. This may include an overnight stay (we pay for hotel and per diem).
Perform all duties assigned with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUESTED (but not needed at time of hiring):
Electrical knowledge (must be willing to learn)
Some HVAC/refrigeration knowledge
