Tax Manager - Boutique CPA Firm - 4 Weeks PTO

Title: Tax Manager - Boutique CPA Firm - 4 Weeks PTO
Location: Wellesley, MA 02481 (West Boston) - 2 Days Onsite
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 + Strong Bonus

Founded in 1999 we are a 15 employee boutique tax & advisory firm that serves high net worth individuals, privately held businesses & nonprofits. We have fostered an amazing culture in the office providing great flexibility, bonus structure & work/life balance that has kept our team strong. We are looking to hire a seasoned Tax Manager (2 days onsite)  with a well rounded background to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing  

• Lead preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth clients and privately held businesses
• Manage client relationships, ensuring timely communication and delivery of high-quality work
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and guiding technical development
• Research and resolve complex tax issues, staying current with federal and state tax law changes

What You Need for this Position

• 8+ years of public accounting experience (ideally working in small - medium sized firms)
• CPA license required
• Strong proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) and Excel
• Deep understanding of pass-through entities, multi-state filings & high-net-worth individual tax matters
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite)
