What Youll Do
As Systems Administrator youll play a key role in being responsible for key IT infrastructure used to keep the College running as effectively and efficiently as possible. We have state-of-the-art technology and a progressive team of co-workers that are constantly looking to push the boundaries of what is possible with the tools and technology at our disposal. The Systems Administrator serves as the authority for IT infrastructure systems and provides technical expertise on design, installing, maintaining, and accessing those systems. This position requires knowledge of server, database, security, and network administration.
Day-to-day, youll be responsible for:
Installs and supports IT infrastructure systems including new and existing servers, Active Directory, Intune, various cloud-based systems, SaaS integrations, storage systems, databases, and other enterprise systems.
Performs administration of select IT Infrastructure systems, including, but not limited to configuration, training, tenant management, performance monitoring, and security.
Collaborates with users throughout the College to translate projects needs into technical specifications for IT Infrastructure integrations that leverages an optimal balance of cost and benefit.
Researches and recommends innovative approaches to simplify and/or automated new and existing processes/tasks. Research and train on new techniques and developments in server/cloud technologies.
Creates reports utilizing reporting and data extraction tools, such as PowerShell, Graph, and/or Excel.
Ensures the security of the systems by researching/implementing new security solutions, working with college personnel, and monitoring and responding to security events.

Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university
Four years of experience using technology to solve business related problems. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required experience. A bachelors Degree may substitute for two additional years of required experience.
Preference given to those with experience in higher education, MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, database administration, and/or SSL authentication.
WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Monday Friday. This position may be eligible for remote work.
