Staff Machine Learning Engineer - AdTech

REMOTE

$220,000 - $240,000 + bonus + benefits

THE COMPANY

This company is an innovative advertising agency that's disrupting the adtech/marketing industry. They've built a brand new product that uses the power of AI to create revenue-producing, real-time customer analytics. They are looking for an experienced ML Engineer to own brand-new ML projects as they expand their customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and deploy machine learning models to optimize and maximize the potential of the company’s platform in real-time bidding and auction engines
• Own initiatives to discover trends and patterns in the advertising industry
• Contribute to the company’s machine learning strategy
• Partner with cross-functional departments (engineering, product, marketing, advertising)
• Own ML projects from end-to-end, mentor junior team members
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the business and interact with stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or STEM field
• 5-7 years of commercial experience
• Domain experience within AdTech/MarTech or related field a plus
• History of leading machine learning projects end-to-end
• Comfortable partnering with non-technical stakeholders
• Expert with Python (particularly statistical packages), TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras
• Track record of leading revenue-impactful projects
• Experience with real-time bidding (RTB) or auction engines for advertising, personalization or recommendation/recommender engines
• Fluent in understanding customer / consumer data a plus
• Ability to show examples of outside-the-box thinking
• Comfortable in autonomous and collaborative settings
