Job Description

A fast-growing energy company is seeking a Senior In-House Counsel .

This role will be central to supporting the company’s legal needs across project development, construction, financing, and operations.

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for U.S. activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key project and financing documents (e.g., land use, PPA, EPC, tax equity, debt).
• Support corporate governance and compliance for all U.S. entities.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and legal budgets.
• Collaborate with a global legal team and cross-functional business units.
• JD with strong academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• 5–7+ years of legal experience, ideally in renewables, energy, or infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in project development, M&A, and / or finance.
• Strong judgment, business orientation, and ability to work independently.
