Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Corvallis, OR. This full-time, contract position offers a full school year opportunity working 37.5 hours per week. The role involves providing specialized instruction and support tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Available caseloads include a 3rd-5th grade autism classroom (social learning center), a middle school resource position, and an elementary resource position. The successful candidate will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborate closely with general education staff and families, and use evidence-based instructional strategies to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction based on individual student needs within assigned caseloads.
• Create, monitor, and update IEPs in pliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including general educators, therapists, and families.
• Utilize data to inform instructional decisions and measure student progress.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social skills development.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide meetings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings, particularly with autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong understanding of individualized instruction and behavior intervention plans.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
