Shop Fabricator

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Overtime available

Overview

We are looking for a systematic Shop Fabricator to aid and assist shop production and efficiency by increasing organization and promoting high levels of productive behavior. This role supports a program that gradually progresses toward more refinement at all production levels.

Responsibilities

• Small part organization
• Reading & organizing prints and plans
• Crew organization & job prioritizing
• Organization of internal shop area
• Cut lists: follow, produce, and execute multiple cut lists for fabrication products
• Fabrication: welding and grinding of various fence/gate components
• Material preparation & ordering

Skills

• Experience as a fabricator/welder
• Knowledge of fabrication
• Aptitude in using various hand tools (grinder, reciprocating saw, etc.) and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, tape measures)
• Ability to follow established procedures and read instructions, blueprints, plans, etc.
• Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Physical strength and stamina
• High school diploma preferred; vocational certification or apprenticeship completion is a plus
• Ability to work well with others

Experience:

• Fabrication/Welding: 1 year
• Fabrication Knowledge: 1 year
