Join Our Team as a Senior Web Developer!

Are you passionate about creating seamless and engaging digital experiences? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team remotely for a 4-month opportunity. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the user experience of our applications and websites, ensuring they are user-friendly and aligned with our organizational goals.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions that improve education technology integration. Your work will empower parents, teachers, schools, and district leaders to focus on their primary mission: educating students. You will operate with considerable independence, utilizing your expertise to drive user-centric design and technology solutions.

• Lead UX/UI design efforts, ensuring all design decisions are based on user experience best practices and adhere to industry standards.
• Translate user research into compelling user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes, contributing to the product roadmap.
• Conduct user testing and outreach, collaborating with partners to ensure products meet end-user needs.
• Work closely with product teams and key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to develop and communicate design solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience creating mockups and wireframes that adhere to UX best practices.
• A comprehensive portfolio showcasing user research, visual design, and usability studies.
• 5+ years of strong writing and organizational skills.
• 5+ years of excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• 4+ years of leading large-scale UX/UI projects.
• Proficiency in developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma or similar design software.
• Experience ensuring designs and websites comply with federal accessibility guidelines.
• Preferred experience with Atlassian Jira and working with state or local education agencies.
