Senior Tax Associate Alternative Investment Funds

Role

Senior Associates work directly with Management to plan, consult, and comply for complex clients such as hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare tax returns
• Build technical knowledge of tax planning, consulting, and compliance for national and foreign entities through formal and onthejob training
• Consistently work with management to identify and research complex client issues
• Provide regular updates to clients
• Assist in project management of compliance and consulting engagements
• Supervise and participate in professional development of Associates and interns
• Receive formal tax training related to Alternative Investment Funds, onthejob training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant tax experience
• Bachelors and/or relevant advanced degree (M.Acc, M.S.T., JD)
• Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred); Minimum GPA 3.0
• Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (i.e., CPA, JD)
• Selfstarter with initiative to seek opportunities; able to work successfully in a fastpaced, highpressure environment
• Proficient use of technology

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range : For San Francisco, expected salary range $86,500 to $148,300. Actual compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and skill set.

Benefits : Employees eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance. 401(k) plan enrollment upon hire. 160 hours paid time off annually, twelve paid holidays/year. Full benefit listing available at
