As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a secure environment for all. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing or industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping a visible presence throughout the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with client staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
