Job Description As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with personnel and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. Assist employees and visitors with questions or concerns related to site access and procedures. Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security experience is required. Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred. California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
