Job Description As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMTue09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri02:30 PM - 11:00 PMSat02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings. Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Assist customers, visitors, and staff with directions or information as appropriate while maintaining a professional demeanor. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security experience is required. California Security Guard Card is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
