We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and professional unarmed security guard to provide on-site security coverage for our Unimacts Global factory in Sloan, NV. The guard will help protect personnel, property, and assets by performing patrols, access control, monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility to deter theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security risks.
• Control access at entrances and exits - screen visitors, inspect credentials, issue visitor badges or escorts, log entries and exits, and enforce security policies.
• Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises (interiors, exteriors, perimeter fences, parking lots, loading docks) to inspect for irregularities, hazards, or breaches.
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, access control logs) for suspicious behavior or security alerts and respond as required.
• Investigate and respond to incidents (e.g. trespassers, safety hazards, disturbances, alarms) and escalate appropriately (notify management, security supervisor, or law enforcement).
• Write clear and timely incident reports, daily logs, and security observations. Maintain records for audits or reviews.
• Enforce facility rules and safety regulations — e.g. ensuring personnel use proper PPE, restricting access to hazardous areas, verifying compliance with security protocols.
• Serve as a first responder in emergencies (e.g. fire, medical, chemical spills) until specialized personnel arrive — assist in evacuation, secure areas, liaise with emergency services.
• Conduct safety and security awareness within the facility—assist in educating staff on security procedures, responding to staff queries, assist in drills.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management or security leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Security Guard Registration Work Card
• 2 years of prior experience as a security guard in an industrial, manufacturing, or large facility preferred
• Clean criminal record / able to pass background check
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (including climbing stairs, walking outdoor perimeter, etc.)
• Good observational skills, attention to detail, and situational awareness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, and security electronics
• Ability to write clear incident reports and maintain logs
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions, and act professionally under potentially stressful or confrontational situations
• Ability to act with discretion, integrity, and sound judgement
• Willing to work rotational shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures (first aid, fire safety) is a plus

Additional / Preferred

• Training in first aid / CPR
• Familiarity with industrial / factory safety protocols (e.g. hazardous materials, lockout/tagout)
• Experience with access control systems, gate operations, ID verification
• Security training / certification recognized in your jurisdiction
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a security team

Working Conditions

• Shift work: may include overnight, weekend, and holiday rotations
• Exposure to outdoor environments (weather, temperature fluctuations) during perimeter patrols
• Possible exposure to factory noise, dust, industrial equipment
• May stand or walk for long periods; occasional lifting of moderate weight (e.g. security equipment)
• Must maintain alertness and vigilance even during slower periods
