Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed - Full Time in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to acting with integrity while supporting a caring and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any security-related incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or violations within the government facility.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with other personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
