Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master
6+ Month Contract (W2 ONLY, NO C-C)
Plano, TX or Georgetown, KY
Onsite: Must be open to working onsite 5 days per week.
Role Summary Seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master to enable Agile delivery across a large-scale Manufacturing Quality Systems portfolio. The role focuses on driving scaled coordination, improving delivery flow, and establishing Jira-driven transparency and governance to support reliable, data-informed delivery.
Key Responsibilities - Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies and coach teams on Agile/Lean practices, integrating continuous improvement and standardized workflows.
- Orchestrate multi-team planning and alignment (Scrum of Scrums, quarterly/PI planning) with clear dependency, risk, and release management.
- Establish and maintain Jira standards and governance for scaled and team-level reporting:
- Configure and maintain shared boards, issue hierarchies (epic/story/sub-task), and custom fields.
- Develop portfolio dashboards showing cross-team progress, risks, dependencies, and flow metrics.
- Build team-level dashboards for velocity, throughput, cycle time, and defect trends.
- Enforce consistent workflows, definitions of ready/done, and quality gates within Jira.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering/Operations stakeholders to align backlogs and releases to manufacturing outcomes (quality, uptime, throughput).
- Identify and remove impediments rapidly, driving continuous improvement and data-driven decisions using Jira metrics and operational insights.
Required Qualifications - 7+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, including experience leading or coordinating 10+ interdependent teams.
- 5+ years of hands-on Jira and analytics experience in scaled Agile environments (Jira Software required; Advanced Roadmaps preferred).
- Proven success running Scrum of Scrums and PI/Quarterly Planning sessions with strong dependency and release coordination.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Lean principles (Scrum, Kanban; familiarity with SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus).
- Experience supporting manufacturing or mission-critical enterprise systems preferred.
