- Location: Remote with occasional onsite meetings at FDA facilities (College Park, MD or DC area)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Scientist with expertise in food and nutrition to support scientific projects for a federal client. The role involves contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of scientific initiatives and providing subject matter expertise in food and nutrition.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support scientific projects from inception to completion.
- Develop requirements and documentation related to food and nutrition initiatives.
- Assist senior consultants with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, and development.
- Participate in occasional onsite meetings at FDA facilities.
Qualifications: - Background in food science, nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working on scientific or research-based projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior consultants and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
