Sanitation Technician in Food Manufacturing

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be an essential part of the sanitation department supporting food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Bellingham, WA

Pay Range: $20.50 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM, 10-hour shifts, with overtime available

What's the Job?

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor
• Assist with clean-in-place and clean-out-of-place procedures
• Utilize appropriate cleaning and sanitation methods to maintain equipment, floors, pipes, tanks, tubs, and walls
• Handle chemicals safely, document usage, and ensure proper disposal of debris and garbage
• Assemble and disassemble equipment, machines, and parts as needed
