Hearthstone, located in the heart of Pella, Iowa, is a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living offering a comprehensive range of services including independent living, assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care across three distinct campuses. Embracing a ministry approach, Hearthstone focuses on enhancing residents' lives through engagement, respect, compassion, and joy. We feature an award-winning household model with 16 residents in each home engaging with one another and our greater community. With a commitment to community integration and celebrating the wisdom of aging, Hearthstone invites residents to live purposefully and enjoy a true sense of family and home.
A Typical Day for a Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) with Hearthstone/The Cottages:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.

Compensation:
The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

Sign on bonus of $5,000 for Full-Time team members
Shift Differentials:
Evening Shift: Additional $3.50/hr
Night Shift: Additional $5.00/hr
Weekend Shift: Additional $1.00/hr
