Our painters perform a variety of duties, including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and industrial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. Responsibilities

•Mix paint or stains to customer's specification
•Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
•Secure trim, fixtures, floors, and furniture from paint using drop cloths
•Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
•Clean up work area once project is finished
•Assemble scaffolding when required

Qualifications

•Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity
•Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training
•Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
•Preference for candidates with 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship, but not required
•Valid driver's license required Sawtooth Wood Products
